Psalm 87

1His foundation is in the sacred mountains.

2Yahweh loves Zion's gates more than all Jacob's dwellings.

3Glorious things are spoken about you, city of God. Selah.

4I will mention Rahab and Babylon to those who know me. Behold Philistia, Tyre with Cush: this one was born there.

5Of Zion it will be said, "This man and that man was born in her"; he, the Most High, will establish her.

6Yahweh will count, when he records the peoples, "This one was born there." Selah.

7The singers, like the dancers, say, "All my springs are in you."
