Lumin Translation

Psalm 86

Incline your ear, Yahweh; answer me, for I am afflicted and needy.

Guard my life, for I am faithful. My God, save your servant who trusts in you.

Be gracious to me, Lord, for I call to you all day.

Gladden the soul of your servant, for to you, O my Lord, I lift up my soul.

For you, Lord, are good and forgiving, abounding in mercy to all who call on you.

Give ear, Yahweh, to my prayer, and heed the voice of my supplications.

In the day of my distress I will call to you, for you will answer me.

None is like you among the gods, Lord, nor any deeds like yours.

All nations you made will come and bow before you, Lord, and honor your name.

For you are great, maker of marvels; you alone are God.

Teach me your way, Yahweh; I will walk in your truth. Unite my heart to fear your name.

I will praise you, Lord my God, with all my heart, and I will honor your name forever.

For your mercy toward me is great, and you have rescued my soul from the lowest Sheol.

God, arrogant men have risen against me, and an assembly of tyrants have sought my soul, and they have not set you before them.

But you, O Lord, are a compassionate and gracious God, slow to anger, abounding in steadfast love and faithfulness.

Look upon me and show me favor; give your might to your servant, and save the son of your maidservant.

Show me a sign for good, that my enemies may see and be put to shame, because you, Yahweh, have helped me and comforted me.
