Lumin Translation
Psalm 57
Have mercy on me, God, have mercy on me, for my soul takes refuge in you; in the shadow of your wings I will take refuge, until calamities pass.
I call to God Most High, to God who accomplishes for me.
He will send from heaven and rescue me, rebuking my devourer. Selah. God will send his mercy and his faithfulness.
My soul is among lions; I lie among flaming sons of men, whose teeth are spears and arrows, and their tongue a sharp sword.
Be exalted above the heavens, God; your glory above all the earth.
They prepared a net for my steps; my soul is bowed low. They dug a pit before me; into its midst they fell. Selah.
My heart stands firm, God, my heart stands firm; I will sing and sing praises.
Awake, my glory! Awake, lyre and harp! I will awaken the dawn.
I will praise you among the peoples, Lord; I will sing praises to you among the nations.
For great is your lovingkindness to the heavens, and your faithfulness to the skies.
Be exalted above the heavens, God; your glory above all the earth.
