Psalm 13

1How long, Yahweh, will you forget me forever? How long will you hide your face from me?

2How long will I fill my soul with plans, my heart with sorrow day after day? How long will my enemy exalt over me?

3Look on me and answer me, Yahweh my God; enlighten my eyes, lest I sleep in death.

4lest my enemy say, "I have overcome him"; lest my adversaries rejoice when I stumble.

5But I have trusted in your kindness; my heart will rejoice in your deliverance.

6I will sing to Yahweh because he has dealt bountifully with me.
