Psalm 105
Praise Yahweh! Call on his name! Proclaim his deeds among the peoples!
Sing to him, sing praises to him; declare all his marvelous works.
Boast in his holy name; let the heart of those who seek Yahweh rejoice.
Seek Yahweh and his strength; seek his face continually.
Remember his wondrous works that he accomplished, his miracles, and the judgments of his mouth.
Offspring of Abraham his servant, sons of Jacob his chosen ones.
He is Yahweh our God; his judgments are throughout the earth.
He remembers his covenant forever, the word he commanded to a thousand generations.
which he made with Abraham, and his oath to Isaac
He established it for Jacob as a statute, for Israel as an everlasting covenant.
saying, "To you I will give the land of Canaan, the portion of your inheritance."
When they were few men in number, very few, and sojourners in it.
They wandered from nation to nation, from kingdom to another people.
He did not allow anyone to oppress them, and he rebuked kings because of them.
Do not touch my anointed ones, nor harm my prophets.
He called a famine on the land. He broke every supply of bread.
He sent a man ahead of them, Joseph sold as a slave.
They afflicted his feet with a fetter; iron entered his soul.
until the time his word came, the word of Yahweh tested him.
The king sent and released him; the ruler of peoples set him free.
He appointed him lord of his house and ruler over all his possessions.
To bind his princes according to his desire, and make his elders wise.
Israel came to Egypt, and Jacob sojourned in the land of Ham.
He made his people exceedingly fruitful and strengthened them more than their adversaries.
He turned their hearts to hate his people and plot against his servants.
He sent Moses his servant and Aaron, whom he chose.
They performed the words of his signs and wonders among them in the land of Ham.
He sent darkness, and it grew dark; they did not disobey his words.
He changed their waters to blood and killed their fish.
Their land teemed with frogs in their kings' chambers.
He spoke, and swarms and lice came throughout their borders.
He gave hail for their rain, flames of fire in their land.
He beat their vines and fig trees, and shattered the trees of their borders.
He spoke, and locusts came, and caterpillars without number.
They consumed all the grass in their land and consumed the fruit of their ground.
He struck all the firstborn in their land, the first of all their strength.
He led them out with silver and gold, and there was no stumbler among his tribes.
Egypt rejoiced when they went out, because dread of them fell upon them.
He spread a cloud for covering, and fire to shine through the night.
They asked, and he brought quail and satisfied them with bread from heaven.
He tore open the rock, waters burst forth, and they went through the parched places like a river.
For he remembered his holy word to Abraham his servant.
He brought his people out with joy, his chosen with singing.
He gave them the lands of the nations, and they inherited the toil of the peoples.
that they might keep his statutes and guard his laws. Praise Yah!
