Lumin Translation

Psalm 92

It is good to praise Yahweh, to sing to your name, Most High.

to declare your steadfast love in the morning, and your faithfulness every night.

with the ten-stringed lyre and the psaltery, with the melody of the harp.

For you, Yahweh, have gladdened me through your deeds; I will shout for joy in the works of your hands.

How great are your works, Yahweh! Your thoughts are very deep.

A brutish man does not know, nor does a fool understand this.

Though the wicked sprout like grass and all evildoers flourish, they will be destroyed forever.

But you, Yahweh, stand exalted forever.

For, behold, your enemies, Yahweh—for, behold, your enemies will perish; all the workers of iniquity will be scattered.

You have exalted my horn like a wild ox; I am anointed with fresh oil.

My eye has beheld my enemies, those rising against me; my ears have heard the evildoers.

The righteous will flourish like a palm tree; like a cedar in Lebanon he will grow.

Those planted in Yahweh's house will flourish in the courts of our God.

They will still bear fruit in old age; they will be plump and lush.

to declare that Yahweh is upright, my rock, and no unrighteousness is in him.
