Psalm 92

1It is good to praise Yahweh, to sing to your name, Most High.

2to declare your steadfast love in the morning, and your faithfulness every night.

3with the ten-stringed lyre and the psaltery, with the melody of the harp.

4For you, Yahweh, have gladdened me through your deeds; I will shout for joy in the works of your hands.

5How great are your works, Yahweh! Your thoughts are very deep.

6A brutish man does not know, nor does a fool understand this.

7Though the wicked sprout like grass and all evildoers flourish, they will be destroyed forever.

8But you, Yahweh, stand exalted forever.

9For, behold, your enemies, Yahweh—for, behold, your enemies will perish; all the workers of iniquity will be scattered.

10You have exalted my horn like a wild ox; I am anointed with fresh oil.

11My eye has beheld my enemies, those rising against me; my ears have heard the evildoers.

12The righteous will flourish like a palm tree; like a cedar in Lebanon he will grow.

13Those planted in Yahweh's house will flourish in the courts of our God.

14They will still bear fruit in old age; they will be plump and lush.

15to declare that Yahweh is upright, my rock, and no unrighteousness is in him.
