Psalm 148

1Praise Yah! Praise Yahweh from the heavens! Praise him in the heights!

2Praise him, all his angels; praise him, all his hosts!

3Praise him, sun and moon! Praise him, all stars of light!

4Praise him, heavens of heavens, waters that are above the heavens.

5Let them praise Yahweh's name, for he commanded, and they were created.

6He appointed them forever and ever; he gave a decree that will not pass.

7Praise Yahweh from the earth, sea monsters and all deeps!

8Fire and hail, snow and vapor, stormy wind accomplishing his word;

9mountains and all hills, fruit trees and all cedars

10Wild animals and all livestock, creeping things and winged birds,

11kings of the earth and all nations, princes and all judges of the earth

12Young men and maidens too, elders with children.

13Let them praise Yahweh's name, for his name alone is exalted; his glory is above the earth and the heavens.

14He has exalted the horn of his people, praise for all his faithful ones, for the children of Israel, a people close to him. Praise Yah!
