Psalm 96

1Sing to Yahweh a new song! Sing to Yahweh, all the earth.

2Sing to Yahweh! Bless his name! Declare his salvation from day to day!

3Declare his glory among the nations, his wonders among all peoples.

4For Yahweh is great and greatly to be praised; he is fearsome above all gods.

5For all the gods of the nations are idols, but Yahweh made the heavens.

6Splendor and majesty are before him; strength and glory are in his sanctuary.

7Ascribe to Yahweh, you families of the nations, ascribe to Yahweh glory and strength.

8Ascribe to Yahweh the glory of his name, bring an offering, and come into his courts.

9Bow down to Yahweh in holy splendor; tremble before him, all the earth.

10Say among the nations, "Yahweh reigns." The world also stands firm—it will not be shaken. He judges the peoples uprightly.

11Let the heavens rejoice and the earth exult; let the sea roar, and all within it.

12Let the field rejoice and everything in it; then all the trees of the forest will shout for joy.

13before Yahweh, for he comes, for he comes to judge the earth. He will judge the world in righteousness, the peoples in his faithfulness.
