Lumin Translation
Psalm 77
I cry out to God with my voice; with my voice to God, and he listens to me.
In the day of my distress I sought the Lord; my hand poured out in the night and did not cease; my soul refused comfort.
I remember God and groan; I complain, and my spirit faints. Selah.
You held fast my wakeful eyes; I am troubled and cannot speak.
I considered days of old, years of eternity.
I remember my music in the night; with my heart I commune, and my spirit searches diligently.
Will the Lord reject forever? Will he be pleased no more?
Has his mercy failed forever? Has his promise ceased for generations?
Has God forgotten to show grace? Or has he, in anger, restrained his compassion? Selah.
Then I said, "This is my grief: the years of the right hand of the Most High."
I will remember, remember Yah's deeds; for I will remember your ancient wonders.
I will meditate on all your deeds and muse on your doings.
God, your way is in the holy place. Who is a great God like God?
You are the God who works wonders; you have revealed your power among the nations.
You have ransomed your nation with your mighty arm, the children of Jacob and Joseph. Selah.
The waters saw you, God; the waters saw you—they writhed; the depths also trembled.
Clouds poured out water; skies gave sound; your arrows also flashed.
The voice of your thunder rolled in the heavens; lightnings brightened the world; the earth quaked and shook.
Your way was in the sea, your paths in vast waters, and your footsteps were not known.
You guided your people like a flock by the hand of Moses and Aaron.
