Psalm 112

1Praise Yah! Blessed is the man who fears Yahweh, taking great delight in his commandments.

2His offspring will be mighty on earth; the generation of the upright will be blessed.

3Wealth and riches are in his house, and his righteousness stands forever.

4Light rises in the darkness for the upright—he is gracious, merciful, and righteous.

5Good is the man who shows favor and lends; he upholds his matters in judgment.

6Surely he will never be shaken; the righteous will be an everlasting memorial.

7He will not fear evil reports; his heart stands firm, confident in Yahweh.

8His heart is steadfast; he will not fear until he sees his adversaries.

9He has scattered, he has given to the needy; his righteousness stands forever, his horn exalted in glory.

10The wicked will see and seethe; he will grind his teeth and dissolve, while the desire of the wicked perishes.
