Sermon Week

Keep Sunday with you all week

Sermon Week is for the listener who wants their church’s sermon to last past Sunday: import → digest → Anchor → one faithful step, then return without starting over. It is one of Lumin’s four pillars — not the whole product.

Lumin Sermon Week: a digest, an Anchor line, and one faithful step from a sermon.
Sermon Week keeps Sunday with you — one pillar of the companion, not the whole product.

One pillar

What Sermon Week is (not the whole app)

The App Store subtitle is sermon-centric: “Your sermons, kept all week.” That job is real. Lumin’s homepage story is still four pillars: Ask, Bible Coach, Pray, and Sermon Week. The app is a Christian Bible AI companion for the days between Sundays — not a sermon-notes product that swallowed everything else.

Sermon Week is a core job. It is not a license to erase Ask, Bible Coach, or Pray.

The path

Import → digest → Anchor → one faithful step

Bring in a sermon by link, audio file, or recording. Recent App Store release notes (What’s New for 3.15.0) also name YouTube link and podcast. Lumin gives a clear digest, key Scripture, and an Anchor line to carry into the week. Choose one faithful step, then return to the same sermon when Monday gets loud.

The primary language here is “one faithful step,” matching the homepage and current App Store description — not a marketed 7-day plan as the headline claim.

Monday

Your active Sermon Week stays together

The App Store’s Sermon Week section: see what stayed. Your carried line, your chosen practice, and your recent reflections remain together in one quiet place. Come back without starting over.

That is the difference from a file you never reopen. The sermon remains a place you can return to, not a transcript you archive and forget.

Limits

Not a substitute for worship or your pastor’s care

Sermon Week helps you organize and revisit what you heard. Recording should only happen with permission. Lumin does not replace worship, your pastor, or your church community. Being present on Sunday still belongs to Sunday.

If you want a listener practice that does not require an app, read How to remember a sermon after church.

Free-layer steps

How to carry a sermon through the week in Lumin

Free-layer steps: import a sermon, review the digest, note the Anchor, choose one faithful step, and return mid-week. No paywalled steps. Completing this is not a guaranteed spiritual outcome.

  1. Import the sermon

Bring a sermon by link, audio file, or recording — including a YouTube link or podcast as named in recent App Store release notes. Record only with permission.

  2. Review the digest

Read the clear digest and the key Scripture. Open the passages rather than stopping at a summary.

  3. Note the Anchor line

Keep the Anchor — the carried line that should stay with you when the rest of the sermon fades.

  4. Choose one faithful step

Pick one practice for the week in front of you. The claim is one faithful step, not a guaranteed 7-day transformation.

  5. Return mid-week

Come back to the same active Sermon Week without starting over when Monday gets loud.

Questions

People also ask

How does Lumin Sermon Week work?

Bring in a sermon by link, audio file, or recording (including YouTube link or podcast as named in recent App Store release notes). Lumin gives a clear digest, key Scripture, and an Anchor line to carry into the week. Choose one faithful step, then return to the same sermon when Monday gets loud.

Is Sermon Week the whole product?

No. The App Store subtitle highlights sermons kept all week, and Sermon Week is a core job — but Lumin’s homepage story is four pillars: Ask, Bible Coach, Pray, and Sermon Week. The app is a Christian Bible AI companion for the days between Sundays.

Does Sermon Week replace being present at church?

No. It helps you organize and revisit what you heard. Recording should only happen with permission. Lumin does not replace worship, your pastor, or your church community.

Can I bring a sermon by YouTube link, podcast, audio file, or recording?

Yes. Confirmed import paths are link, audio file, or recording. Recent App Store release notes also name YouTube link and podcast.

What is an Anchor line?

An Anchor is the carried line from the sermon — key Scripture kept with the digest — so you have one thing to return to during the week instead of a fading memory of the whole message.

Can I return mid-week without starting over?

Yes. Your carried line, chosen practice, and recent reflections stay together. Come back to the same active Sermon Week without starting over.

How is /sermon-week different from /sermon-notes-app or transcription apps?

/sermon-week is Lumin’s named pillar: digest, Anchor, one faithful step, return. /sermon-notes-app is the category guide. Transcription apps capture words; Sermon Week is built to help you live one thing from the sermon you heard.
