1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the Lumin Faith: Bible AI mobile application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the App.

Lumin Faith: Bible AI is developed and provided by Andrew Kittridge ("Developer", "I", "me", or "my"). These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and me.

2. Description of Service

Lumin Faith: Bible AI is a spiritual companion app that provides:

• AI-powered Christian conversations and guidance
• Daily inspiration and Bible study tools
• Journaling and reflection features
• Premium features through subscription

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use this App. By using the App, you represent that you meet this age requirement.

4. User Accounts

4.1 Account Creation

You may need to create an account using supported sign-in methods (such as Sign in with Apple, Google Sign-In, email sign-in, or guest access) to access certain features.

4.2 Account Responsibility

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for all activities that occur under your account.

4.3 Account Termination

I reserve the right to terminate or suspend your account at my discretion, with or without notice, for violation of these Terms.

5. Subscription Services

5.1 Subscription Plans

The App offers optional premium features through auto-renewing subscriptions.

• Faith Journey Monthly: $10.00 USD per month, auto-renewing monthly, with a 7-day free trial for new subscribers.
• Faith Journey Annual: $80.00 USD per year, auto-renewing annually, with a 7-day free trial for new subscribers.
• Lumin+ Max: $20.00 USD per month, auto-renewing monthly, for higher included usage. Lumin+ Max may be offered without a free trial unless an introductory offer is shown before purchase.
• Lumin+ Ultra: $100.00 USD per month, auto-renewing monthly, for highest included usage. Lumin+ Ultra may be offered without a free trial unless an introductory offer is shown before purchase.

Premium includes higher AI usage, Bible study access, prayer and journal tools, saved conversations, theologian chat conversations, more Deep answers for harder questions, and sermon notes with follow-up chat. Usage limits and fair-use safeguards apply.

5.2 Billing and Payment

• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
• Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase
• Your Apple ID account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period
• You can manage subscriptions in your Apple ID account settings

5.3 Cancellation

• You can cancel subscriptions at any time through your Apple ID account settings
• Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period
• No refunds for partial billing periods

5.4 Price Changes

Subscription prices may change with reasonable notice through the App or email.

6. User Content and Conduct

6.1 User-Generated Content

You may create and share journal entries, prayer requests, and spiritual reflections. You retain ownership of your content.

6.2 Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the App for illegal purposes
• Share harmful, offensive, or inappropriate content
• Attempt to hack, disrupt, or reverse-engineer the App
• Violate others' privacy or intellectual property rights

6.3 Content Removal

I reserve the right to remove any user content that violates these Terms.

7. AI-Generated Content

7.1 AI Nature

All Bible interpretations, spiritual guidance, and responses from the AI assistant are generated by artificial intelligence and may not be theologically perfect or universally accepted.

7.2 Christian Focus

The AI is designed to provide Jesus-centered guidance based on biblical teachings. However, AI responses should be prayerfully considered and not replace professional spiritual counseling.

7.3 No Guarantee of Accuracy

While I strive for biblical accuracy, AI-generated content may contain errors. Always consult primary biblical sources and qualified spiritual leaders.

8. Intellectual Property

8.1 App Ownership

The App, including all code, design, and content (except user-generated content), is owned by me and protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

8.2 Limited License

I grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes.

8.3 User Content License

By posting content, you grant me a license to use, display, and distribute your content within the App for operational purposes.

9. Privacy

Your privacy is important. Please review the Lumin Faith: Bible AI Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

10. Third-Party Services

10.1 External Services

The App integrates with:

• x.ai (Grok AI API)
• Firebase (Google)
• AppsFlyer (install attribution and campaign measurement)
• Apple services (APNs and SKAdNetwork)

10.2 Third-Party Terms

Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms of service and privacy policies.

11. Disclaimers

11.1 Spiritual Content

The App provides spiritual guidance and Bible study tools but is not a substitute for professional pastoral care, counseling, or medical advice.

11.2 AI Limitations

AI responses are generated by machine learning models and may not always be accurate, appropriate, or applicable to your specific situation.

11.3 No Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.

12. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, I SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP.

In no event shall my total liability exceed the amount you paid for the App in the twelve months preceding the claim.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold me harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your violation of these Terms or misuse of the App.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Indiana, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Indiana.

15. Changes to Terms

I may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

16. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found invalid, the remaining provisions shall remain in effect.

17. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and me regarding the App.
