What is Lumin?
Lumin is a Christian Bible AI companion for iPhone and iPad for the days between Sundays. The homepage story is four jobs: Ask a real question, read with Bible Coach beside the chapter, Pray in the morning and evening, and carry Sermon Week after Sunday.
The App Store listing is Lumin: Bible AI Companion. The subtitle highlights sermons kept all week; the site still treats Ask, Bible Coach, Pray, and Sermon Week as equal pillars. Lumin+ adds higher daily limits and The Counsel — a slower, Scripture-cited letter — as described on the site and on subscription support.
Lumin is a companion, not a replacement for Scripture, your church, or your pastor. Open cited passages in context and keep the final word with the Word and the people who know you. Read the Lumin Covenant for the published limits.
Getting started
How do I get Lumin?
Download Lumin from the Apple App Store (id 6754889412). Native Lumin is built for iPhone and iPad and requires iOS or iPadOS 17.0 or later. A signed-in web companion is at /app, including Ask on the web.
Android is not available today. If you need Android now, Lumin is not the right fit yet — that is a product fact, not a promise.

Is Lumin free? What is Lumin+?
You can start free. The App Store lists Lumin as Free with In‑App Purchases. Lumin+ includes higher daily limits and The Counsel.
Plan names, pricing, trial eligibility, usage limits, and taxes are shown in the Apple App Store before you confirm a purchase. This page does not invent a SKU matrix or a free-tier feature checklist beyond that stated line. Additional Lumin+ features appear in the App Store purchase screen.
For trial and billing questions, use subscription support. Do not guess cancel steps from a marketing page.
Citations
Does Lumin invent Bible verses? Can I check citations?
Lumin is built so answers point to Scripture you can open. When a passage is named, the reference stays visible so you can compare the reply with the text. AI is fallible. Treat every generated explanation as assistance to inspect, not as the final interpreter.
Ask starts from a life or Bible question and returns a short answer with cited Scripture. Bible Coach stays inside the chapter so the passage remains in view. In both cases, keep the final word with the Word and with trusted people who know you.
Church first
Does Lumin replace my pastor or church?
No. AI assists with study, reflection, and questions. It does not carry spiritual authority or replace Scripture, prayer, conscience, pastoral care, discernment, or church community.
When a question is weighty — vocation, marriage, harm, doctrine that divides a congregation — take it to people who know you. Lumin can help you find a passage and phrase a question. It cannot shepherd you.
Memory and ads
Privacy, memory, and ads
With your permission, Lumin can remember prayers and moments you choose to keep. You can see what stays, hide it, edit it, or remove it. Saved items are visible under You → Lumin Remembers.
Site language: prayers and reflections stay on your account, are never sold, can be cleared anytime, and the app shows no ads. There is no public feed. The Covenant also forbids streak-shaming and guilt-based “we miss you” hooks.

After Sunday
How do I bring a sermon into the week?
Import a sermon by link, audio file, or recording. Recent App Store release notes also name YouTube link and podcast. Lumin gives a clear digest, key Scripture, an Anchor line, and one faithful step. Return to the same sermon when Monday gets loud, without starting over.
Sermon Week is one of four pillars — not the whole product. Recording should only happen with permission. Lumin organizes and revisits what you heard; it does not replace worship or your pastor’s care.

What is The Counsel?
For questions that deserve more than a quick reply, The Counsel gives you a slower, Scripture-cited letter you can keep and reopen. Lumin’s site, llms.txt, and subscription support describe it as part of Lumin+, alongside higher daily limits.
The current App Store description does not name The Counsel. App Store version history 3.11.0 (June 17, 2026) introduced Counsel you can come back to. That history is not the same as today’s store-card bullets.
The Counsel is secondary to Ask, Bible Coach, Pray, and Sermon Week. It does not replace a counselor, pastor, or church. This page does not walk through a paid Counsel workflow.
