Psalm 101

1Steadfast love and justice I will sing; to you, Yahweh, I will sing praises.

2I will be prudent in a blameless way. When will you come to me? I will walk in integrity of heart in the midst of my house.

3I will set no worthless thing before my eyes, the deed of those who turn aside; I hate it, it will not cling to me.

4A perverse heart shall depart from me; I will not know evil.

5I will destroy whoever secretly slanders his neighbor; I will not tolerate whoever has haughty eyes and an arrogant heart.

6My eyes will be on the faithful of the land, so they may dwell with me; he who walks in a blameless way, he will serve me.

7Whoever deals deceitfully will not dwell within my house; whoever speaks lies will not stand firm before my eyes.

8Each morning I will destroy all the wicked of the land, to cut off all who work evil from Yahweh's city.
