Lumin Translation
Psalm 141
Yahweh, I call to you; hurry to me. Hear my voice when I call to you.
Let my prayer be directed before you like incense; the uplifting of my hands like the evening offering.
Yahweh, set a watch over my mouth; keep the door of my lips.
Do not turn my heart to any evil matter, to perform wanton deeds in wickedness with men who work iniquity, nor let me eat their delicacies.
Let a righteous person beat me with kindness; let him discipline me like oil on the head—do not let my head refuse it, for my prayer is still amid their afflictions.
Their judges are thrown down the sides of the rock, and they will hear my words, for they are pleasant.
Like plowing and breaking the earth, our bones are scattered at the mouth of Sheol.
For my eyes look to you, Yahweh my Lord; in you I take refuge—do not forsake my soul.
Keep me from the snare their hands have set for me, and from the traps of those who work evil.
Let the wicked fall together into their own nets, while I pass over.
