Lumin Translation
Psalm 80
Shepherd of Israel, give ear, you who lead Joseph like a flock, you who dwell upon the cherubim; shine forth.
Before Ephraim, Benjamin, and Manasseh rouse your might, and come to deliver us.
God, restore us and make your face shine, and we will be saved.
Yahweh, God of hosts, how long will you be angry with your people's prayer?
You have made them eat bread of tears, and caused them to drink tears threefold.
You make us a point of contention to our neighbors, and our enemies mock among themselves.
God of hosts, restore us and shine your face, and we will be saved.
You brought a vine from Egypt, drove out the nations, and planted it.
You cleared a place before it, and it took deep root and filled the land.
The mountains were covered with its shade, and its branches were like the cedars of God.
It sent out its branches to the sea, and its shoots to the river.
Why have you broken down its walls, so that all who pass along the path pluck it?
The boar wastes it, and the wild beast of the field feeds on it.
God of Hosts, please return; look down from heaven, see, and visit this vine.
the vineyard that your right hand planted, and the branch you strengthened for yourself.
Burned with fire and cut down, they perish at the rebuke of your face.
Let your hand be on the man at your right hand, on the son of man whom you have strengthened for yourself.
So we will not turn back from you; revive us, and we will call on your name.
Yahweh God of Hosts, restore us; make your face shine, and we will be saved.
