Lumin Translation
Psalm 36
Transgression speaks to the wicked within my heart: there is no fear of God before his eyes.
For he flatters himself in his own eyes too much to find and hate his iniquity.
The words of his mouth are wickedness and deception. He has stopped understanding and doing good.
He conceives iniquity on his bed; he takes his stand in a way that is not good; he does not despise evil.
Yahweh, your steadfast love is in the heavens; your faithfulness reaches to the skies.
Your righteousness rises like the mountains of God; your judgments reach a great deep. Yahweh, you save man and beast.
How precious is your favor, God! The sons of men take refuge in the shadow of your wings.
They will be satisfied with the abundance of your house, and you will make them drink from the river of your delights.
For the spring of life is with you; in your light we see light.
Extend your favor to those who know you, your righteousness to the upright in heart.
Let not the foot of pride come upon me, nor the hand of the wicked drive me away.
There the doers of evil have fallen, thrust down and unable to rise.
