Psalm 75

1We thank you, God; we thank you, for your name is near; people recount your wonders.

2When I take the appointed time, I myself will judge rightly.

3The earth and all its inhabitants are melting away; I have steadied its pillars. Selah.

4I said to the boastful, "Do not boast," and to the wicked, "Do not exalt the horn."

5Do not raise your horn to the heights; do not speak with a stiff neck.

6For exaltation does not come from the east, nor from the west, nor from the south.

7For God is judge—this one he humbles, and this one he exalts.

8For a cup is in Yahweh's hand, foaming wine full of mixture; he pours it out from it. Indeed, all the wicked of the earth will wring out its dregs and drink them.

9As for me, I will declare forever; I will sing praises to the God of Jacob.

10All the horns of the wicked I will cut off; the horns of the righteous will be exalted.
