Psalm 111

1Praise Yah! With all my heart I praise Yahweh, in the council of the upright and the congregation.

2Great are Yahweh's works, sought out by all who delight in them.

3Splendor and majesty mark his deeds; his righteousness endures forever.

4He has made his marvelous deeds a memorial; Yahweh is gracious and merciful.

5He has given food to those who fear him; he remembers his covenant forever.

6He has made known to his people the might of his works, to give them the inheritance of the nations.

7The works of his hands are truth and justice; all his precepts are trustworthy.

8They are upheld forever and always, performed in faithfulness and righteousness.

9He sent redemption to his people, commanded his covenant forever; holy and awesome is his name.

10Fear of Yahweh is the beginning of wisdom; good understanding belongs to all who do them; his praise stands forever.
