Psalm 110

1Yahweh declares to my lord, "Sit at my right hand until I make your enemies a footstool for your feet."

2Yahweh will send the rod of your strength from Zion. Rule in the midst of your enemies.

3Your people volunteer in the day of your might, in the splendor of holiness; from dawn's womb you have the dew of your youth.

4Yahweh has sworn and will not relent: You are a priest forever according to my order, Melchizedek.

5The Lord at your right hand crushes kings in the day of his wrath.

6He will judge among the nations, he will fill them with corpses, he will crush the ruler of the great earth.

7He will drink from the brook along the way; therefore he will lift up the head.
