Psalm 122

1I was glad when they said to me, "Let us go to Yahweh's house."

2Our feet stood within your gates, Jerusalem.

3Jerusalem is built like a city joined together.

4There the tribes ascend, Yah's tribes, to Israel's testimony, to give thanks to Yahweh's name.

5For there sit thrones of judgment, thrones of David's house.

6Seek the peace of Jerusalem; those who love you will prosper.

7May peace be within your walls, prosperity within your palaces.

8For my brothers' and companions' sake, I will now say, "Peace be within you."

9For the house of Yahweh our God, I will seek your good.
