Psalm 83
God, do not remain silent. Do not be silent and do not stay quiet, O God.
For see, your enemies roar, and those who hate you have raised their heads.
They devise cunning schemes against your people and conspire against your treasured ones.
They say, "Come, let us eradicate them as a nation, so that Israel's name is not remembered anymore."
For they have counseled together with one heart to cut a covenant against you.
Edom's tents, the Ishmaelites, Moab, and the Hagrites;
Gebal, Ammon, and Amalek; Philistia with the dwellers in Tyre;
Assyria also has allied with them; they have become an arm to the sons of Lot. Selah.
Deal with them as with Midian, as with Sisera, as with Jabin at the brook Kishon.
They were destroyed at En-dor and became dung for the ground.
Make their nobles like Oreb and Zeeb, all their princes like Zebah and Zalmunna.
who said, "Let us possess God's pastures for ourselves."
My God, make them like a wheel, like stubble before the wind.
Like fire that burns the forest, like a flame that sets the mountains ablaze.
So chase them with your tempest and terrify them with your storm.
Fill their faces with disgrace, that they may seek your name, Yahweh.
Let them be ashamed and dismayed forever, and let them be disgraced and destroyed.
Let them know that you, whose name alone is Yahweh, are the Most High over all the earth.
