Psalm 138

1I will praise you with all my heart; before God I will sing praises to you.

2I will bow down toward your holy temple and praise your name for your favor and your faithfulness, for you have exalted your name and your word above all.

3On the day I called, you answered me; you strengthened me with might in my soul.

4All the kings of the earth will praise you, Yahweh, for they have heard the words of your mouth.

5They shall sing in the ways of Yahweh, for great is the glory of Yahweh.

6For Yahweh is high, yet he regards the lowly; the haughty he knows from afar.

7Though I walk in the midst of trouble, you will revive me; you will extend your hand against the anger of my enemies, and your right hand will save me.

8Yahweh will perfect it for me; your steadfast love, Yahweh, endures forever. Do not abandon the works of your hands.
