Psalm 25
To you, Yahweh, I lift my soul.
My God, in you I trust; do not let me be shamed, nor let my enemies exult over me.
Indeed, none who wait for you will be put to shame; those who deal treacherously without cause will be ashamed.
Yahweh, make your ways known to me; teach me your paths.
Guide me in your truth and teach me, for you are the God of my salvation; on you I wait all day.
Yahweh, remember your compassions and your kindnesses, for they are from eternity.
Do not remember the sins of my youth nor my transgressions; according to your favor remember me—you—for your goodness' sake, Yahweh.
Yahweh is good and upright, therefore he instructs sinners in the way.
He guides the humble in justice, and teaches the humble his way.
All the paths of Yahweh are steadfast love and faithfulness for those who keep his covenant and his testimonies.
For the sake of your name, Yahweh, forgive my iniquity, for it is great.
Who is this man who fears Yahweh? He will instruct him in the way he chooses.
His soul will dwell prosperously, and his offspring will inherit the land.
Yahweh's counsel is for those who fear him, and he makes his covenant known to them.
My eyes remain on Yahweh continually, for he will free my feet from the net.
Turn to me and be gracious to me, for I am desolate and afflicted.
The afflictions of my heart have multiplied. Rescue me from my distresses.
See my affliction and my suffering, and pardon all my sins.
See my enemies, for they are many, and they hate me with violent hatred.
Guard my soul and deliver me; let me not be ashamed, for I take refuge in you.
Let integrity and uprightness keep me, for I hope in you.
God, deliver Israel from all his afflictions.
