Psalm 65

1Praise waits silently for you, God, in Zion; to you the vow shall be fulfilled.

2You who hear prayer, all flesh will come to you.

3Acts of iniquity prevailed against me, but you atone for our transgressions.

4Blessed is the one you choose and draw near, to dwell in your courts; we will be filled with the goodness of your house, your holy temple.

5By fearful deeds in righteousness you answer us, God of our salvation, the hope of all the ends of the earth and those far off on the sea.

6who establishes the mountains by his power, girded with might.

7who quiets the roaring of the seas, the roaring of their waves, and the tumult of the nations.

8Those who dwell at the ends dread your signs; you make the outgoings of morning and evening shout for joy.

9You attend the earth and water it, greatly enriching it with God's stream full of water; you prepare their grain, for so you prepare it.

10You soak its furrows, you break down its clods, you melt it with showers, you bless its sprouts abundantly.

11You crown the year of your bounty, and your paths drop abundance.

12Wilderness pastures overflow, and the hills clothe themselves with gladness.

13Lambs of the flock are arrayed, and valleys covered with wheat; they shout, they also sing.
