Psalm 43

1Vindicate me, God, and plead my cause against a faithless nation; deliver me from a deceitful and unjust man.

2For you are the God of my strength; why do you reject me, why do I walk about darkened in the enemy's oppression?

3Send your light and your faithfulness; let them guide me and bring me to your holy mountain and your dwelling places.

4Then I will come to God's altar, to God, the joy of my rejoicing, and I will praise you with the harp, O God, my God.

5Why are you bowed down, my soul, and why in turmoil within me? Hope in God, for I will yet praise him, salvation of my face and my God.
