Psalm 108

1My heart is firm, God; I will sing and make music, even with my glory.

2Wake up, psaltery and harp! I will wake the dawn.

3I will praise you among the peoples, Yahweh, and sing praises to you among the nations.

4For your steadfast love is great above the heavens, and your faithfulness reaches to the skies.

5Be exalted above the heavens, God, and your glory above all the earth.

6That your beloved ones may be delivered, save with your right hand, and answer me.

7God has spoken from his holy place: I will exult, I will divide Shechem, and measure the valley of Succoth.

8Gilead is mine; Manasseh is mine; Ephraim is the stronghold of my head; Judah is my scepter.

9Moab is my washbasin; over Edom I will fling my shoe; over Philistia I raise the victory cry.

10Who will bring me into the fortified city? Who will lead me to Edom?

11Have you rejected us, God? Will you not go forth, God, with our armies?

12Grant us help against the adversary, for man's deliverance is vain.

13With God we will act with valor; it is he who will trample our adversaries.
