Psalm 28

1To you, Yahweh, I call, my rock; do not be deaf to me, lest you be silent to me and I become like those who go down into the pit.

2Hear the voice of my entreaties when I cry to you, when I lift my hands to your holy oracle.

3Do not drag me along with the wicked and with doers of evil, who speak peace to their companions, while harm is in their hearts.

4Give them what their deeds deserve and what the evil of their dealings deserves; give them what their handiwork deserves; repay them their recompense.

5Because they do not discern the deeds of Yahweh or the work of his hands, he will demolish them and not rebuild them.

6Blessed be Yahweh, because he has heard the voice of my pleas.

7Yahweh is my strength and my shield; my heart trusted in him, and I was helped, my heart rejoices, and with my song I will praise him.
