Lumin Translation
Leviticus 9
It was on the eighth day that Moses called Aaron and his sons and the elders of Israel.
He said to Aaron, "Take a bull calf for a sin offering and a ram for a burnt offering, without defect, and present them before Yahweh."
Speak to the sons of Israel, saying, "Take a male goat for a sin offering, and a calf and a lamb, both a year old and unblemished, for a burnt offering."
and a bull and a ram for peace offerings to sacrifice before Yahweh, and a grain offering mixed with oil; for today Yahweh will appear to you.
They brought what Moses commanded before the tent of meeting, and the whole congregation drew near and stood before Yahweh.
Moses said, "This is what Yahweh commanded you to do, and the glory of Yahweh will appear to you."
Moses said to Aaron, “Approach the altar, offer your sin offering and your burnt offering, and make atonement for yourself and for the people; offer the people’s offering and make atonement for them, as Yahweh commanded.”
Aaron approached the altar and slaughtered the calf of the sin offering that was for him.
Aaron's sons brought the blood to him; he dipped his finger in the blood, put it on the horns of the altar, and poured the blood at the base of the altar.
He burned the fat, the kidneys, and the caul from the liver of the sin offering on the altar, as Yahweh commanded Moses.
He burned the flesh and the skin with fire outside the camp.
He slaughtered the burnt offering, Aaron's sons brought the blood to him, and he sprinkled it around on the altar.
They brought the burnt offering to him in its pieces, along with the head, and he burned them on the altar.
He washed the entrails and the legs, and burned them over the burnt offering on the altar.
He brought the people's offering, took the goat—the sin offering for the people—slaughtered it, and made it a sin offering, like the first.
He brought the burnt offering and offered it according to the regulation.
He presented the grain offering, filled his hand from it, and burned it on the altar, apart from the morning burnt offering.
He slaughtered the bull and the ram, the sacrifice of peace offerings for the people; Aaron's sons brought the blood to him, and he sprinkled it all around on the altar.
and the fat from the bull and from the ram, the rump, the covering, the kidneys, and the caul of the liver
They placed the fat on the breasts, and he burned the fat on the altar.
Aaron waved the breasts and the right thigh as a wave offering before Yahweh, as Moses commanded.
Aaron lifted his hands toward the people and blessed them, and he came down from performing the sin offering, the burnt offering, and the peace offerings.
Moses and Aaron entered the tent of meeting, came out, and blessed the people, and Yahweh's glory appeared to all the people.
Fire came out from before Yahweh and consumed the burnt offering and the fat pieces on the altar, and all the people saw it, shouted for joy, and fell on their faces.
