Leviticus 7

This, the law of the guilt offering, is most holy.

In the place where they kill the burnt offering, they kill the guilt offering, and he sprinkles its blood around on the altar.

He shall offer all its fat from it: the fat tail, and the fat covering the entrails.

He shall remove both kidneys, the fat on them alongside the loins, and the caul on the liver with the kidneys.

The priest shall burn them on the altar as a fire offering to Yahweh; it is a guilt offering.

Every male among the priests shall eat it. It is eaten in a holy place. It is a holy of holies.

The sin offering and the guilt offering share one law. The priest who makes atonement with it shall have it.

The priest who offers any man's burnt offering shall have for himself the skin of the burnt offering he has offered.

Every grain offering baked in the oven, and everything prepared in the frying pan or on the griddle, belongs to the priest who presents it.

Every grain offering, whether mixed with oil or dry, belongs to all the sons of Aaron, each one like his brother.

This is the law of the peace offering that one offers to Yahweh.

If he offers it for a thanksgiving, then with the thanksgiving sacrifice he shall offer unleavened cakes mixed with oil, unleavened wafers spread with oil, and fried cakes of fine flour mixed with oil.

He shall offer his offering with cakes of leavened bread along with the thanksgiving sacrifice of his peace offerings.

From it he shall present one from every offering as a contribution to Yahweh. It shall belong to the priest who sprinkles the blood of the peace offerings.

The flesh of the thanksgiving sacrifice of his peace offerings must be eaten on the day of his offering. He must not leave any of it until morning.

But if his sacrificial offering is a vow or a freewill offering, it shall be eaten on the day he offers his sacrifice, and on the next day what remains of it shall be eaten.

Whatever is left of the sacrifice's flesh on the third day shall be burned in fire.

And if any flesh of his peace offerings is eaten at all on the third day, it will not be accepted for the one offering it, nor reckoned to him; it will be an abomination, and the person eating from it will bear her iniquity.

The flesh that touches any unclean thing shall not be eaten; it shall be burned with fire. As for the flesh, all who are clean shall eat the flesh.

The person who eats flesh from the peace offerings belonging to Yahweh while his uncleanness is upon him—that person shall be cut off from his people.

When a person touches any unclean thing—human uncleanness, or an unclean beast, or any unclean abomination—and consumes meat from the peace offerings for Yahweh, that person shall be cut off from their people.

Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying,

Speak to the children of Israel, saying, "Do not eat any fat of ox, sheep, or goat."

The fat of a carcass and the fat of that which is torn may be used for any work, but you shall not eat it.

For whoever eats the fat of the animal from which one offers a fire offering to Yahweh, that person eating it shall be cut off from their people.

You shall not eat any blood from birds or beasts in all your dwelling places.

Any soul that eats any blood, that soul shall be cut off from its people.

Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying,

Speak to the sons of Israel, saying, "Whoever offers the sacrifice of his peace offerings to Yahweh shall bring his offering to Yahweh from the sacrifice of his peace offerings."

With his own hands he shall bring the fire offerings of Yahweh, the fat with the breast; he shall bring the breast to wave it as a wave offering before Yahweh.

The priest shall burn the fat on the altar, and the breast shall belong to Aaron and his sons.

You shall give the right thigh to the priest as a heave offering from the sacrifices of your peace offerings.

Whoever among Aaron's sons offers the blood of the peace offerings and the fat shall have the right thigh as his portion.

For the breast of the wave offering and the thigh of the heave offering I have taken from the sons of Israel out of their peace offerings, and given them to Aaron the priest and his sons as a statute forever from the sons of Israel.

This is the anointing of Aaron and the anointing of his sons from Yahweh's fire offerings, on the day he presented them to serve as priests to Yahweh.

which Yahweh commanded to give them on the day he anointed them from the sons of Israel, an eternal statute for their generations.

This is the law for the burnt offering, the grain offering, the sin offering, the guilt offering, the consecrations, and the sacrifice of peace offerings.

which Yahweh commanded Moses on Mount Sinai the day he charged the children of Israel to present their offerings to Yahweh in the wilderness of Sinai.
