Leviticus 24

Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying,

Command the sons of Israel to bring you pure beaten olive oil for the light, to make a lamp burn continually.

Outside the veil of the Testimony, in the Tent of Meeting, Aaron shall arrange it from evening until morning before Yahweh continually; it shall be an eternal statute for your generations.

He shall arrange the lamps on the pure menorah before Yahweh continually.

You shall take fine flour and bake twelve cakes of it; two tenths shall be one cake.

You shall set them in two rows, six per row, on the pure table before Yahweh.

You shall put pure frankincense upon the row, and it shall be for the bread a memorial, a fire offering to Yahweh.

Every sabbath day he shall arrange it before Yahweh continually, an everlasting covenant from the children of Israel.

It belongs to Aaron and his sons, and they shall eat it in a holy place, for it is most holy to him from Yahweh's fire offerings by a perpetual statute.

A son of an Israelite woman, a son of an Egyptian man, went out among the children of Israel, and the son of the Israelite woman and an Israelite man strove in the camp.

The son of the Israelite woman blasphemed the Name and cursed, and they brought him to Moses. His mother's name was Shelomith, daughter of Dibri, of the tribe of Dan.

They put him in custody until it was declared to them by the mouth of Yahweh.

Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying,

Take the curser outside the camp, and let all who heard him place their hands on his head, and let the whole assembly stone him.

Speak to the children of Israel, saying, "Anyone who curses his God shall bear his sin."

Whoever blasphemes the name of Yahweh must certainly die; the whole congregation must stone him, whether a sojourner or a native-born, and when he blasphemes the name he must die.

If any man strikes any human soul, he shall surely be put to death.

Whoever strikes an animal shall restore it, life for life.

If a man puts a blemish on his neighbor, as he has done, so shall it be done to him.

Fracture for fracture, eye for eye, tooth for tooth: as he causes a blemish in a person, so shall it be done to him.

Whoever strikes an animal shall make restitution for it; whoever strikes a person shall be put to death.

There shall be one law for you, the same for the sojourner as for the native, for I am Yahweh your God.

Moses spoke to the sons of Israel, and they brought the one who had cursed outside the camp and stoned him with stones. The sons of Israel did as Yahweh had commanded Moses.
