Leviticus 26
You shall not make idols for yourselves, nor erect carved images or pillars, nor place any figured stone in your land to bow down to it, for I am Yahweh your God.
You shall observe my Sabbaths and revere my sanctuary. I am Yahweh.
If you walk in my decrees, observe my commandments, and accomplish them,
I will give you rains in their season, and the land will yield its produce, and the trees of the field will bear their fruit.
Your threshing will reach the vintage, and the vintage the sowing season; you will eat your bread to satisfaction and live securely in your land.
I will establish peace in the land, and you will lie down with nothing to terrify you; I will rid the land of the evil beast, and no sword will pass through your land.
You shall put your enemies to flight, and they shall fall before you by the sword.
Five of you will chase a hundred, and a hundred of you will chase ten thousand; your enemies will fall before you by the sword.
I will look with favor on you, make you fruitful, increase you, and confirm my covenant with you.
You shall eat the old that has remained long and bring out the old because of the new.
I will place my dwelling among you, and my soul will not abhor you.
I will walk in your midst, and I will be your God, and you will be my people.
I am Yahweh your God, who brought you out from the land of Egypt so you would not be their slaves; I broke the bars of your yoke and made you walk upright.
But if you will not obey me and will not perform all these commandments,
and if you spurn my decrees, or if your soul loathes my judgments, so that you refuse to fulfill all my commands but violate my covenant,
I will also bring this upon you: I will visit you with terror, consumption, and fever that waste the eyes and torment the soul; you will sow your seed for nothing, your enemies devouring it.
I will turn my face against you, and you will be routed before your enemies; your haters will rule over you, and you will flee though no one chases you.
If you do not listen to me even after these, then I will discipline you seven times more for your sins.
I will break the pride of your strength, and set your sky like iron and your ground like bronze.
And your strength will accomplish nothing, for your land will not give its produce, nor will the trees of the land give their fruit.
And if you walk contrary to me and refuse to listen to me, I will multiply plagues upon you seven times according to your sins.
I will send beasts of the field among you, and they will bereave you, destroy your livestock, and diminish you, and your ways will become desolate.
If by these you will not be disciplined toward me, but will walk in opposition to me.
I will also walk with you in opposition, and I will strike you, even I, seven times for your sins.
I will bring a sword against you that avenges the vengeance of the covenant, and you will be gathered into your cities; I will send plague among you, and you will be given into the hand of the enemy.
When I break your staff of bread, ten women will bake your bread in one oven and return it to you by weight; you will eat, but not be satisfied.
But if even in this you do not listen to me, but walk with me in opposition.
I will walk against you in wrathful opposition, and I myself will discipline you seven times for your sins.
You will eat the flesh of your sons, and the flesh of your daughters you will eat.
I will demolish your high places and cut down your idols, and cast your corpses upon the corpses of your idols, and my soul will abhor you.
I will lay your cities waste and desolate your sanctuaries, and I will not delight in your pleasing aroma.
I will desolate the land, and your enemies who dwell in it will be appalled at it.
I will disperse you among the nations and draw the sword after you; your land will become a desolation, and your cities will be ruins.
Then the land will take pleasure in its sabbaths all the days of desolation while you are in the land of your enemies; then the land will rest and take pleasure in its sabbaths.
All the days it lies desolate it shall rest—the rest it did not rest during your sabbaths, when you dwelt upon it.
As for those remaining among you, I will bring faintness into their hearts in the lands of their enemies; the sound of a driven leaf will chase them, they will flee as in flight from a sword, and they will fall though no one pursues.
They will stumble one upon another as before a sword though none pursues, and you will have no power to stand before your enemies.
You will perish among the nations, and the land of your enemies will devour you.
Those left among you will waste away in their iniquity in your enemies' lands; they will also waste away with them in their fathers' iniquities.
If they confess their iniquity and their fathers' iniquity in the unfaithfulness by which they acted unfaithfully against me, and also that they walked in stubborn opposition to me,
I also walked hostilely against them and brought them into their enemies' land; if then their uncircumcised heart is humbled, and they then accept their guilt.
I will remember my covenant with Jacob, and also my covenant with Isaac, and also my covenant with Abraham; I will remember the land.
The land will lie forsaken by them and satisfy its sabbaths while desolate without them; they will accept their iniquity because they rejected my judgments and because their soul abhorred my statutes.
Yet even when they are in the land of their enemies, I will not spurn them, nor loathe them, to consume them or break my covenant with them; for I am Yahweh their God.
I will remember for them the covenant of their ancestors, whom I brought out of the land of Egypt before the nations, to be their God. I am Yahweh.
These are the statutes, judgments, and laws that Yahweh gave between himself and the sons of Israel at Mount Sinai by Moses' hand.
