Leviticus 15

Yahweh spoke to Moses and to Aaron, saying,

Speak to the sons of Israel and say to them: When any man has a discharge from his flesh, because of his discharge he is unclean.

This is his uncleanness in his discharge: his flesh running with his discharge, or his flesh ceasing from his discharge; it is his uncleanness.

Every bed on which the one with the discharge lies becomes unclean, and every object on which he sits becomes unclean.

Whoever touches his bed must wash his clothes, bathe in water, and be unclean until evening.

Whoever sits on any vessel on which the man with the discharge sits must wash his garments, bathe in water, and be unclean until evening.

Whoever touches the body of the one with the discharge shall wash his garments, bathe in water, and be unclean until evening.

If the man with the discharge spits on a clean person, then he shall wash his garments, bathe in water, and be unclean until evening.

Any saddle on which the one having a discharge rides becomes unclean.

Anyone who touches anything that will be beneath him becomes unclean until evening, and whoever carries those things must wash his clothes, bathe in water, and be unclean until evening.

Whoever the one with the discharge touches without having rinsed his hands in water shall wash his clothes, bathe in water, and be unclean until evening.

A clay vessel that the one with the discharge touches shall be broken, and every wooden vessel shall be rinsed in water.

When the man with a discharge is cleansed from his discharge, he shall count seven days for his purification, wash his clothes, bathe his body in living water, and be clean.

And on the eighth day he shall take for himself two turtledoves or two young pigeons, come before Yahweh to the entrance of the tent of meeting, and give them to the priest.

The priest shall offer them—one as a sin offering and the other as a burnt offering—and make atonement for him before Yahweh for his discharge.

Any man from whom seed of copulation goes out shall wash all his flesh in water and be unclean until the evening.

Every garment and every skin on which there is a seminal emission shall be washed with water and be unclean until evening.

A woman with whom a man has intercourse resulting in emission of semen shall bathe in water, and they will be unclean until the evening.

When a woman has a flow of blood from her body, she remains in her menstrual impurity for seven days, and everyone who touches her becomes unclean until evening.

Everything she lies on during her impurity becomes unclean, and everything she sits on becomes unclean.

Whoever touches her bed shall wash his garments, bathe in water, and be unclean until evening.

Anyone who touches any vessel she sits on must wash his garments, bathe in water, and be unclean until evening.

And if it is on the bed or on the vessel she sits on, when he touches it, he becomes unclean until evening.

If a man lies with her and her discharge comes upon him, he shall be unclean seven days, and every bed on which he lies shall become unclean.

If a woman has a flow of her blood for many days not at the time of her period, or if she flows beyond her period, all the days of the flow of her uncleanness are like the days of her period: she is unclean.

Any bed she lies on during all the days of her discharge will be to her like the bed of her period, and any object she sits on will be unclean like the uncleanness of her period.

Whoever touches them will become unclean, wash his clothes, bathe in water, and remain unclean until evening.

But if she is cleansed from her discharge, then she shall count seven days for herself, and afterward she will be clean.

On the eighth day she shall take for herself two turtledoves or two young pigeons and bring them to the priest at the entrance to the tent of meeting.

The priest shall offer one as a sin offering and the other as a burnt offering, and the priest shall make atonement for her before Yahweh for her uncleanness from the discharge.

You shall set the sons of Israel apart from their uncleanness, lest they die in their uncleanness when they defile my tabernacle that is among them.

This is the law of the one having a discharge and of the emission of semen that goes out from him, for uncleanness in it.

and the woman during her menstruation, and anyone with a discharge—male or female—and whoever lies with an unclean woman.
