Leviticus 2

1When anyone brings a grain offering to Yahweh, his offering shall be fine flour; he shall pour oil on it and put frankincense on it.

2He shall bring it to Aaron's sons, the priests, and take from it a full handful of its flour and its oil, with all its frankincense; then the priest shall burn its memorial on the altar, a fire offering of pleasing aroma to Yahweh.

3The portion left over from the grain offering belongs to Aaron and his sons—a most holy item from Yahweh's fire offerings.

4When you bring a grain offering baked in an oven, it shall be unleavened cakes of fine flour mixed with oil, or unleavened wafers smeared with oil.

5And if your offering is a grain offering on the griddle, it shall be unleavened fine flour mixed with oil.

6You shall break it into pieces and pour oil upon it. It is a grain offering.

7If your offering is a frying pan meal offering, it shall be made of fine flour with oil.

8You shall bring to Yahweh the offering made from these, and he shall present it to the priest and bring it to the altar.

9The priest shall lift a memorial portion from the grain offering and burn it on the altar—a fire offering of pleasing fragrance to Yahweh.

10Whatever remains of the offering belongs to Aaron and his sons; it is most holy among Yahweh's fire offerings.

11No offering you present to Yahweh shall be leavened, for you shall burn no leaven or any honey from it as a fire offering to Yahweh.

12As a firstfruits offering, you shall bring them to Yahweh, but they shall not ascend to the altar for a pleasing aroma.

13You shall season every offering of your gift with salt; nor shall you allow the salt of the covenant of your God to cease from your gift; with all your offerings you shall offer salt.

14If you offer a firstfruits offering to Yahweh, you shall offer fresh ears parched with fire, beaten grain from full ears, as your firstfruits offering.

15You shall put oil on it and place frankincense on it; it is a grain offering.

16The priest shall burn its memorial portion—some of its beaten grain and some of its oil—along with all its frankincense as a fire offering to Yahweh.
