Ezekiel 48

1These are the names of the tribes: from the northern end on the side of the road to Hethlon to reach Hamath, Hazar-enan on the border of Damascus northward on the side of Hamath; these shall be his eastern quarter to the sea—Dan, one.

2Next to Dan's border, from the eastern side to the western side, Asher one portion.

3Beside the border of Asher, from the east quarter to the west quarter, Naphtali, one portion.

4Along the border of Naphtali, from the eastern end to the western end, Manasseh—one portion.

5Beside Manasseh's border, from the eastern quarter to the western quarter, Ephraim, one.

6Along Ephraim's border, from the eastern side to the western side, Reuben, one portion.

7Adjoining Reuben's border, from the eastern quarter to the western quarter, Judah—one portion.

8Beside Judah's border, from the east side to the west side, will be the offering you offer, twenty-five thousand in breadth and in length like one of the portions, from the east side to the west side, with the sanctuary in its midst.

9The offering that you shall offer to Yahweh shall be twenty-five thousand in length and ten thousand in breadth.

10These shall be the consecrated offering for the priests: twenty-five thousand to the north, ten thousand in breadth to the west, ten thousand in breadth to the east, and twenty-five thousand in length to the south, and Yahweh’s sanctuary shall be in its midst.

11For the consecrated priests from the sons of Zadok, who kept my charge, who did not stray when the sons of Israel strayed, as the Levites strayed.

12It shall be to them an oblation from the oblation of the land, most holy, beside the border of the Levites.

13Alongside the border of the priests, the Levites shall have twenty-five thousand in length and ten thousand in breadth; the whole length shall be twenty-five thousand, and the breadth ten thousand.

14They shall not sell any of it, nor exchange it, nor shall the firstfruits of the land be alienated; for it is holy to Yahweh.

15The remaining five thousand in the breadth facing the twenty-five thousand shall be common for the city, for habitation and for pastureland, and the city shall be in its midst.

16These are its measures: the north side four thousand five hundred, the south side four thousand five hundred, the east side four thousand five hundred, and the west side four thousand five hundred.

17Open land for the city will extend two hundred fifty to the north, two hundred fifty to the south, two hundred fifty to the east, and two hundred fifty to the west.

18The remaining length alongside the holy offering shall be ten thousand eastward and ten thousand westward; it shall lie alongside the holy offering, and its produce shall provide food for those who serve the city.

19The city’s servants shall serve it from all the tribes of Israel.

20All the offering measures twenty-five thousand by twenty-five thousand, foursquare; offer the holy offering with the city's possession.

21The rest shall be for the prince, on one side and the other of the holy offering and the city's possession, facing the twenty-five thousand of the offering toward the eastern border and westward facing the twenty-five thousand toward the western border, alongside the portions for the prince; it shall be the holy offering and the sanctuary of the house in its midst.

22From the possession of the Levites and from the possession of the city—in the midst of the territory that will belong to the prince between the border of Judah and the border of Benjamin—it will be for the prince.

23The rest of the tribes, from the east quarter to the west quarter: Benjamin, one portion.

24Beside the border of Benjamin, from the eastern quarter to the western quarter, Simeon, one portion.

25By the border of Simeon, from the eastern quarter to the western quarter, Issachar, one.

26Along the border of Issachar, from the east side to the west side, Zebulun one portion.

27Along the border of Zebulun, from east to west, Gad—one portion.

28Along the border of Gad, toward the southern side facing south, the border will extend from Tamar to the waters of Meribath Kadesh, to the brook by the great sea.

29This is the land you shall allot to the tribes of Israel as an inheritance, and these are their portions, says the Lord Yahweh.

30These are the city's exits from the north quarter: four thousand five hundred measures.

31The gates of the city bear the names of Israel's tribes: three gates to the north—the gate of Reuben, one; the gate of Judah, one; the gate of Levi, one.

32And on the east side four thousand five hundred, and three gates: Joseph's gate, one; Benjamin's gate, one; Dan's gate, one.

33The south quarter measures four thousand five hundred, with three gates: one gate of Simeon, one gate of Issachar, one gate of Zebulun.

34The western quarter four thousand five hundred, their three gates: one gate of Gad, one gate of Asher, one gate of Naphtali.

35Eighteen thousand all around, and from that day the name of the city is Yahweh Is There.
