Ezekiel 45

When you apportion the land by lot for inheritance, you shall present an offering to Yahweh—a holy portion from the land, twenty-five thousand in length and ten thousand in breadth; it shall be holy throughout all its borders all around.

From this there shall be for the sanctuary five hundred by five hundred square all around, and fifty cubits of open land all around it.

From this measure, measure a length of twenty-five thousand and a breadth of ten thousand; in it will be the sanctuary, the holy of holies.

A sacred area of the land belongs to the priests, those serving the sanctuary who draw near to serve Yahweh; it will be a place for their houses and a holy space for the sanctuary.

Twenty-five thousand in length and ten thousand in breadth shall be for the Levites who serve the house, as their possession for twenty chambers.

You shall assign the city's possession five thousand in width and twenty-five thousand in length, alongside the holy offering; it shall be for the whole house of Israel.

The prince will have a portion alongside the holy offering and the city's possession on one side and the other, facing the holy offering and facing the city's possession, from the west quarter westward and from the east quarter eastward, with length matching one of the portions, from the west border to the east border.

The land shall be his possession in Israel, and my princes shall no longer oppress my people; they shall give the land to the house of Israel according to their tribes.

Thus says the Lord Yahweh: Enough for you, princes of Israel—remove violence and oppression, carry out justice and righteousness, and lift your exactions from my people, says the Lord Yahweh.

You shall have honest balances, an honest ephah, and an honest bath.

The ephah and the bath shall share one standard, the bath to hold a tenth homer and the ephah a tenth homer, with their capacity set by the homer.

The shekel is twenty gerahs; twenty shekels, twenty-five shekels, and fifteen shekels shall be your maneh.

This is the contribution you shall offer: a sixth of an ephah from a homer of wheat, and you shall give a sixth of an ephah from a homer of barley.

The ordinance of oil—the bath of oil—is a tenth of a bath from the cor, which is ten baths, a homer; for ten baths are a homer.

And one sheep from the flock, out of every two hundred from Israel's well-watered lands, for a grain offering, a burnt offering, and peace offerings, to make atonement for them, declares the Lord Yahweh.

All the people of the land shall contribute this offering for the prince in Israel.

The prince will provide the burnt offerings, grain offerings, and drink offerings at the festivals, new moons, and Sabbaths, during all the appointed times of the house of Israel; he will prepare the sin offering, grain offering, burnt offering, and peace offerings to make atonement for the house of Israel.

Thus says the Lord Yahweh: On the first day of the first month, you shall take an unblemished young bull and purify the sanctuary.

The priest shall take some of the sin offering's blood and apply it to the house's doorposts, to the four corners of the altar ledge, and to the doorposts of the inner court's gate.

Thus you shall do on the seventh of the month for anyone who strays and for the simple, and you shall make atonement for the house.

In the first month, on the fourteenth day of the month, the Passover shall be for you—a feast of seven days; unleavened bread shall be eaten.

On that day the prince will prepare a bull for a sin offering for himself and for all the people in the land.

For the seven days of the feast he shall offer Yahweh a burnt offering of seven bulls and seven rams without blemish each day throughout those seven days, together with a male goat each day for a sin offering.

He shall prepare a grain offering of an ephah for a bull, an ephah for a ram, and a hin of oil per ephah.

In the seventh month, on the fifteenth day of the month, during the festival he shall do likewise for seven days, as with the sin offering, the burnt offering, the grain offering, and the oil.
