Exodus 38

1He made the burnt offering altar of acacia wood, five cubits long and five cubits wide, square, three cubits high.

2He made its horns on its four corners; its horns were part of it, and he overlaid it with bronze.

3He made all the altar's vessels—the pots, the shovels, the bowls, the fleshhooks, and the firepans; he made all its vessels from bronze.

4He made for the altar a bronze grate of network, beneath its ledge from below to its middle.

5He cast four rings on the four ends of the bronze grate as holders for the bars.

6He made the poles of acacia wood and overlaid them with bronze.

7He put the poles into the rings on the sides of the altar to carry it with them. He made it hollow with boards.

8He made the bronze basin and its bronze stand from the mirrors of the serving women who served at the entrance to the tent of meeting.

9He made the court for the south side southward, hangings of the court of twined fine linen one hundred cubits long.

10Their pillars were twenty, and their sockets twenty bronze; the hooks of the pillars and their fillets were silver.

11For the north side, one hundred cubits—their twenty pillars and twenty brass sockets; the hooks of the pillars and their fillets of silver.

12For the west side, hangings fifty cubits long, their ten pillars and ten sockets; the pillars' hooks and their silver fillets.

13And for the east side toward the east fifty cubits.

14Hangings of fifteen cubits were on one side, their three pillars and three sockets.

15For the other shoulder, on this side and on that by the gate of the court, there were fifteen-cubit hangings; their three pillars and three sockets.

16All the hangings around the court were fine twisted linen.

17The bases for the pillars were bronze, the hooks of the pillars and their bands silver, and the overlay of their capitals silver; they—all the pillars of the courtyard—were banded with silver.

18The hanging for the gate of the court was embroidered work of blue, purple, scarlet, and fine twined linen, twenty cubits long and five cubits high across its width, matching the hangings of the court.

19Their four pillars had four brass sockets; their hooks were silver, as were the overlaying of their capitals and their fillets.

20All the pegs of the tabernacle and the surrounding court were bronze.

21These are the inventories of the tabernacle, the tabernacle of the testimony, which was counted at Moses' command, for the service of the Levites, by the hand of Ithamar son of Aaron the priest.

22Bezalel son of Uri son of Hur from the tribe of Judah accomplished all that Yahweh charged Moses.

23With him was Aholiab son of Ahisamach, of the tribe of Dan, a craftsman, a designer, and an embroiderer in blue, purple, scarlet, and fine linen.

24All the gold used for the work in all the work of the sanctuary, and the gold of the wave offering, was twenty-nine talents and seven hundred thirty shekels by the sanctuary shekel.

25The silver from the census of the congregation was one hundred talents and one thousand seven hundred seventy-five shekels, by the sanctuary shekel.

26A bekah per head, half a shekel by the sanctuary shekel, for everyone passing over to those numbered, from twenty years old and upward: six hundred thousand, three thousand, five hundred fifty.

27The hundred talents of silver served to cast the sockets of the sanctuary and the sockets of the veil: a hundred sockets for a hundred talents, one talent per socket.

28From the thousand seven hundred seventy-five shekels he made hooks for the pillars, overlaid their capitals, and fitted fillets to them.

29The bronze of the wave offering was seventy talents and two thousand four hundred shekels.

30With it he made the bases for the entrance of the tent of meeting, the bronze altar, the bronze grate for it, and all the vessels of the altar.

31the sockets all around the courtyard, the sockets of the courtyard gate, all the pins of the tabernacle, and all the pins around the courtyard.
