Lumin Translation

Exodus 25

Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying,

Speak to the Israelites, that they bring me an offering; from every man whose heart moves him you shall take my offering.

This is the offering that you shall take from them: gold, silver, and bronze.

blue, purple, scarlet, fine linen, and goats' hair

rams' skins dyed red, badger skins, and acacia wood

oil for the light, spices for the anointing oil, and for the sweet incense.

Onyx stones, and setting stones for the ephod and the breastplate.

Have them make a sanctuary for me, so I will dwell among them.

Just as I show you the pattern of the tabernacle and the pattern of all its furnishings, so shall you make it.

They shall make an ark of acacia wood, two and a half cubits long, a cubit and a half wide, and a cubit and a half high.

Overlay it with pure gold inside and outside, and make a gold crown around it.

You shall cast four gold rings for it and place them on its four corners, two rings on one side and two rings on the other side.

You shall make acacia wood poles and overlay them with gold.

You shall place the bars into the rings on the sides of the ark to bear the ark with them.

The poles shall be in the ark's rings; they shall not be removed from it.

You shall put into the ark the testimony that I will give you.

You shall make a mercy seat of pure gold, two and a half cubits long and a cubit and a half wide.

You shall make two cherubim of beaten gold from the two ends of the mercy seat.

Make one cherub at one end and one cherub at the other end; make the cherubim from the mercy seat on both its ends.

The cherubim shall extend their wings upward, covering the mercy seat with their wings, their faces facing each other and the mercy seat. The faces of the cherubim shall face the mercy seat.

You shall place the mercy seat atop the ark, and you shall put the testimony inside the ark that I will give you.

I will meet you there and speak with you from above the mercy seat, between the two cherubim on the ark of the testimony, everything I command you for the sons of Israel.

You shall make a table of acacia wood, two cubits long, one cubit wide, and one and a half cubits high.

You shall overlay it with pure gold and make a gold crown around it.

You shall make for it a border a handbreadth wide all around, and you shall make a golden crown for its border all around.

You shall make four gold rings for it and place the rings on the four corners of its four feet.

The rings shall be alongside the rim as places for the bars to carry the table.

You shall make the poles of acacia wood and overlay them with gold, so the table may be carried with them.

You shall make its platters, its spoons, its cups, and its bowls for what is poured into them. You shall make them of pure gold.

You shall set the bread of the presence on the table before me always.

You shall make a lampstand of pure gold. The lampstand shall be beaten work—its shaft and its branch, its cups, its buds, and its flowers all from the same piece.

Six branches extend from its sides: three branches of the menorah from one side, and three branches of the menorah from the other side.

Three almond-shaped cups on one branch, a bud and a flower; and three almond-shaped cups on the other branch, a bud and a flower—so for the six branches extending from the menorah.

And on the lampstand four almond-shaped cups, its buds and its blossoms.

and a bud under two of its branches, and a bud under two of its branches, and a bud under two of its branches—for the six branches extending from the lampstand.

Their buds and their branches shall be of one piece with it, the whole a single beaten work of pure gold.

You shall make its seven lamps, and they shall light its lamps to shine opposite its face.

Its snuffers and its snuff dishes shall be pure gold.

He shall make it from a talent of pure gold, with all these utensils.

See to it that you make them according to their form, which was shown to you on the mountain.
