1 Chronicles 8

1Benjamin fathered Bela his firstborn, Ashbel the second, and Aharah the third.

2Nohah the fourth, and Rapha the fifth.

3Bela had sons: Addar, Gera, and Abihud.

4Abishua, Naaman, and Ahoah,

5Gera, Shephuphan, and Huram.

6And these are the sons of Ehud—these same ones, the heads of the fathers of Geba's inhabitants—and they deported them to Manahath.

7Naaman, Ahijah, and Gera—he drove them into exile and fathered Uzza and Ahihud.

8Shaharaim fathered children in the countryside of Moab after he sent them away; Hushim and Baara were his wives.

9He fathered Jobab, Zibia, Mesha, and Malcham by his wife Hodesh.

10And Jeuz, Shachia, and Mirma—these were his sons, chiefs of the fathers.

11By Hushim he fathered Abitub and Elpaal.

12Elpaal's sons: Eber, Misham, and Shemed, who built Ono and Lod with its towns.

13Beriah and Shema were heads of the ancestral houses of Aijalon's dwellers and drove away the dwellers of Gath.

14and Ahio, Shashak, and Jerimoth,

15Zebadiah, Arad, and Ader

16and Michael, Ishpah, and Joha, sons of Beriah,

17and Zebadiah, Meshullam, Hezeki, and Heber

18Ishmerai, Jezliah, Jobab, sons of Elpaal,

19Jakim, Zichri, and Zabdi

20and Elienai, Zilthai, and Eliel

21Adaiah, Beraiah, and Shimrath, sons of Shimei,

22and Ishpan, Heber, and Eliel

23Abdon, Zichri, and Hanan,

24and Hananiah, Elam, and Antothijah,

25and Iphedeiah, Penuel, and Penuel, sons of Shashak

26and Shamsherai, Shehariah, and Athaliah,

27and Jaresiah, Elijah, and Zichri, Jeroham's sons.

28These heads of the fathers in their generations, the leaders, lived in Jerusalem.

29In Gibeon they lived, the father of Gibeon, and his wife's name was Maachah.

30and his firstborn son Abdon, Zur, Kish, Baal, and Nadab

31Gedor, Ahio, and Zeker.

32Mikloth fathered Shimeah, and they too lived in Jerusalem with their brothers, opposite their brothers.

33Ner fathered Kish, and Kish fathered Saul, and Saul fathered Jonathan, Malchishua, Abinadab, and Eshbaal.

34Jonathan's son was Merib-baal, and Merib-baal fathered Micah.

35Micah's sons were Pithon, Melech, Tarea, and Ahaz.

36Ahaz fathered Jehoaddah; Jehoaddah fathered Alemeth, Azmaveth, and Zimri; Zimri fathered Moza.

37Moza fathered Binea, Rapha his son, Eleasah his son, Azel his son.

38Azel had six sons, their names being Azrikam, Bocheru, Ishmael, Sheariah, Obadiah, and Hanan—all these his sons.

39Eshek his brother's sons were Ulam his firstborn, Jeush the second, and Eliphelet the third.

40The sons of Ulam were mighty men of war, archers who had many sons and grandsons—one hundred and fifty. All these were from the sons of Benjamin.
