Deuteronomy 23

No one whose testicles are crushed or whose penis is cut off shall enter the assembly of Yahweh.

No bastard shall enter the assembly of Yahweh; even to the tenth generation, none of his shall enter the assembly of Yahweh.

No Ammonite or Moabite may enter Yahweh's assembly; even their tenth generation may none of them enter Yahweh's assembly forever.

Because they did not come to you with bread and water along the road when you came out from Egypt, and because they hired Balaam son of Beor from Pethor of Aram-naharaim against you to curse you.

But Yahweh your God was not willing to listen to Balaam, but Yahweh your God turned the curse into a blessing for you, because Yahweh your God loved you.

Do not seek their peace or prosperity all your days forever.

Do not abhor an Edomite, for he is your brother; do not abhor an Egyptian, because you were a sojourner in his land.

Children born to them in the third generation shall enter the assembly of Yahweh.

When you go out to battle against your enemies, guard yourself from every evil thing.

If any man among you is unclean because of a nighttime emission, he shall go outside the camp; he shall not come into the midst of the camp.

When evening approaches, he shall bathe in water, and when the sun sets, he shall enter the camp.

You shall have a place outside the camp where you shall go outside.

You shall have a paddle upon your weapon, and when you sit outside, you shall dig with it, turn back, and cover that which comes from you.

For Yahweh your God walks in the midst of your camp to deliver you and to give your enemies before you; therefore your camps shall be holy, that he not see any shameful thing in you and turn away from you.

You shall not hand over to his master a servant who escapes to you from his master.

He shall dwell with you, among you, in the place he chooses in one of your gates, wherever it suits him best: do not oppress him.

No daughter of Israel shall be a prostitute, nor any son of Israel a male prostitute.

Do not bring the pay of a prostitute or the fee of a dog into the house of Yahweh your God for any vow, for even both are an abomination to Yahweh your God.

Do not charge your brother interest on money, interest on food, interest on anything that is lent at interest.

You may lend at interest to a foreigner, but to your brother you shall not lend at interest, in order that Yahweh your God may bless you in all that you apply your hand to, on the land that you go there to possess.

When you vow a vow to Yahweh your God, do not delay fulfilling it, for Yahweh your God will surely require it of you, and it will be sin in you.

But if you refrain from vowing, it will not be sin in you.

Whatever your lips utter you shall keep and carry out, just as you vowed to Yahweh your God—a voluntary offering you spoke with your mouth.

When you come into your neighbor's vineyard, you may eat grapes as your appetite desires until you are full, but you shall not put any in your vessel.

When you enter your neighbor's standing grain, you may pluck ears with your hand, but you shall not swing a sickle against your neighbor's standing grain.
