Lumin Translation
Romans 5
Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.
through whom we also have access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and we glory in hope of God's glory.
Not only that, but we also rejoice in afflictions, knowing that affliction produces endurance.
and patient endurance leading to character, and character leading to hope.
And hope does not put us to shame, because God's love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit given to us.
For while we were still weak, Christ died for the ungodly at the appointed time.
For hardly will one die for a righteous person; yet perhaps someone even dares to die for a good person.
But God proves his own love for us, because while we were still sinners Christ died for us.
Therefore, much more, having now been justified by his blood, we will be saved from wrath through him.
For if, while we were enemies, we were reconciled to God through the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, will we be saved by his life.
Not only that, but we also glory in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now received the reconciliation.
For this reason, just as sin entered the world through one man, and death through sin, so death spread to all people, because all sinned.
For until the law sin was in the world, but sin is not reckoned when there is no law.
Nevertheless, death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over those who had not sinned in the likeness of Adam's transgression, who is a pattern of the one to come.
But the gift is not like the trespass. For if by the trespass of the one the many died, much more has the grace of God, and the gift through the grace of the one man Jesus Christ, abounded to the many.
And the gift is not like what came through the one who sinned, for judgment from one led to condemnation, but the gracious gift from many trespasses to justification.
For if through the fault of the one death reigned through the one, much more will those receiving the abundance of grace and the gift of righteousness reign in life through the one, Jesus Christ.
So then, just as through one offense condemnation resulted for all people, so also through one righteous act justification of life resulted for all people.
For as through one man's disobedience the many were made sinners, so also through the obedience of the one the many will be made righteous.
Now the law entered alongside, so that the trespass would abound; but where sin abounded, grace superabounded.
so that just as sin reigned in death, grace might also reign through righteousness to eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
