Romans 16

1I now commend Phoebe to you, our sister, who is also a servant of the church at Cenchreae.

2Welcome her in the Lord as befits the saints, and stand by her in whatever matter she may need from you, for she herself has also become a benefactor of many, and of myself.

3Greet Prisca and Aquila, my fellow workers in Christ Jesus.

4who risked their own necks for my life, to whom not only I give thanks but also all the churches of the Gentiles.

5Greet the church in their house. Greet Epaenetus my beloved, who is the firstfruits of Asia to Christ.

6Greet Mary, who toiled much for you.

7Greet Andronicus and Junia, my kin and fellow prisoners, who are prominent among the apostles and who were in Christ before me.

8Greet my beloved Ampliatus in the Lord.

9Greet Urbanus, our fellow laborer in Christ, and Stachys my beloved.

10Greet Apelles, approved in Christ. Greet those of Aristobulus' household.

11Greet Herodion, my relative. Greet those of Narcissus who are in the Lord.

12Greet Tryphena and Tryphosa, who toil in the Lord. Greet Persis the beloved, who toiled much in the Lord.

13Greet Rufus elect in the Lord, and his and my mother.

14Greet Asyncritus, Phlegon, Hermes, Patrobas, Hermas, and the brothers with them.

15Greet Philologus and Julia, Nereus and his sister, Olympas, and all the saints with them.

16Greet each other with a holy kiss. All Christ's churches greet you.

17I urge you, brothers, to watch out for those causing divisions and stumbling blocks contrary to the teaching you learned, and turn away from them.

18For such people do not serve our Lord Christ but their own belly, and by smooth speech and flattery they deceive the hearts of the guileless.

19For your obedience has reached everyone, so I rejoice in you. But I want you wise toward what is good, yet innocent toward what is evil.

20Now the God of peace will soon crush Satan under your feet. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you.

21Timothy, my coworker, and Lucius, Jason, and Sosipater, my kinsmen, greet you.

22I, Tertius, who wrote the letter, greet you in the Lord.

23Gaius, my host and the host of the entire church, greets you. Erastus, the steward of the city, greets you, and Quartus the brother.

24The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with all of you. Amen.

25Now to him who can strengthen you according to my good news and the message of Jesus Christ, in keeping with the revelation of the mystery hidden for ages past,

26but now revealed through prophetic scriptures, according to the eternal God's command, made known to all nations for obedience arising from faith.

27to the God who alone is wise, through Jesus Christ, to whom be the glory forever! Amen.
