Lumin Translation
Romans 12
Therefore I appeal to you, brothers, through God's compassions, to offer your bodies as a living, holy, pleasing sacrifice to God—your rational worship.
And do not be patterned after this age, but be transformed by the renewing of the mind, so that you may discern what the good and pleasing and perfect will of God is.
For I say, through the grace given to me, to every one among you, not to think more highly than one ought to think, but to think with sound judgment, as God has allotted to each a measure of faith.
For just as we have many members in one body, all the members do not have the same function.
so we who are many are one body in Christ, and one by one members of each other.
Now having gifts that differ according to the grace given to us, whether prophecy, in proportion to the faith.
or service, in serving; or he who teaches, in teaching.
or the one who exhorts, in exhortation; the one who shares, with generosity; the one who leads, with diligence; the one who shows mercy, with cheerfulness.
Let love be genuine, detesting evil and clinging to good.
Be devoted to one another in brotherly love, preferring one another in honor.
not slothful in diligence, fervent in spirit, serving the Lord
rejoicing in hope, patient in affliction, persevering in prayer
sharing with the saints in their needs; pursuing hospitality.
Bless those who persecute you; bless and do not curse.
Rejoice with those who rejoice, and weep with those who weep.
Have the same outlook toward one another; do not set your mind on lofty things but go along with the lowly; do not become wise in your own sight.
Do not repay anyone evil in return for evil. Give thought to good things in the sight of all people.
If possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with all people.
Beloved, do not avenge yourselves, but make room for the wrath, for it is written: "Vengeance is for me; I will recompense," says the Lord.
But if your enemy hungers, feed him; if he thirsts, give him drink—for by doing this you will heap coals of fire on his head.
Do not let evil overcome you, but overcome evil with good.
