Romans 15

1But we the able are bound to bear the infirmities of the impotent, and not to please ourselves.

2Let each of us please his neighbor for what is good, to build him up.

3For even Christ did not please himself, but as it is written, "The reproaches of those reviling you fell upon me."

4For whatever was written beforehand was written for our instruction, so that through patience and encouragement from the scriptures we might have hope.

5May the God of endurance and encouragement grant you to share the same mind among one another according to Christ Jesus.

6so that with one accord and one voice you may glorify God and the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.

7Therefore accept one another, just as Christ also accepted you, to the glory of God.

8For I say that Christ has become a servant to the circumcised for the sake of God's truth, to confirm the promises to the fathers.

9And the Gentiles glorify God for mercy, as it is written: "For this reason I will praise you among the Gentiles, and sing to your name."

10And again he says, "Rejoice, nations, with his people."

11And again, Praise the Lord, all nations, and let all the peoples praise him.

12And again Isaiah says, "There will be the root of Jesse, and the one rising to reign over nations; nations will hope in him."

13Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace while you believe, that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.

14I myself am also convinced of you, my brothers, that you yourselves are full of goodness, filled with all knowledge, able also to admonish one another.

15But I wrote more boldly to you in some measure, as I remind you, because of the grace given to me by God.

16that I might be a minister of Christ Jesus to the Gentiles, performing priestly service for the gospel of God, so that the offering of the Gentiles might become acceptable, sanctified by the Holy Spirit.

17I have therefore boasting in Christ Jesus in the things concerning God.

18For I will not dare to speak of anything Christ did not accomplish through me for the obedience of the Gentiles, by word and deed.

19through the power of signs and wonders, through the power of the Spirit, so that from Jerusalem, round about to Illyricum, I have fully preached the gospel of Christ.

20So I strive to bring glad tidings not where Christ was named, in order that I might not build on another's foundation.

21But as it is written, those to whom nothing was reported about him will see, and those who have not heard will understand.

22For that reason I was also hindered many times from coming to you.

23But now, no longer having a place in these regions, and having for many years an earnest longing to come to you,

24Whenever I journey to Spain, I hope, as I pass through, to see you and by you to be sent forward there, if first I might be somewhat filled with your company.

25But now I am going to Jerusalem to serve the saints.

26For Macedonia and Achaia were pleased to make some contribution for the poor among the saints in Jerusalem.

27For they were pleased, and they are indebted to them, because if the Gentiles have shared in their spiritual things, they also owe them service in material things.

28Therefore, when I have completed this and sealed this fruit to them, I will go through you to Spain.

29And I know that when I come to you, I will come in the fullness of Christ's blessing.

30Now I urge you, brothers, by our Lord Jesus Christ and by the love of the Spirit, to strive together with me in your prayers to God for me.

31that I may be delivered from the disobedient in Judea, and my service to Jerusalem may be acceptable to the saints.

32that I may come to you in joy through God's will and be refreshed together with you.

33Now may the God of peace be with all of you. Amen.
