What does the Bible say about bitterness?
Scripture names bitterness honestly — Naomi calling herself Mara, Job speaking from the bitterness of his soul — and it also warns that a root of bitterness can spring up and defile many. The Bible is not asking you to pretend injustice did not happen. It is warning against a poison that takes up residence.
