Lumin Translation

Colossians 3

If then you were raised with Christ, seek the things above, where Christ sits at God's right hand.

Set your minds on the things above, not on the things on earth.

For you died, and your life lies hidden with Christ in God.

When Christ, your life, is manifested, then you also will be manifested with him in glory.

Put to death, therefore, your earthly members: sexual immorality, impurity, passion, evil desire, and greed, which is idolatry.

Because of these the wrath of God comes upon the children of disobedience.

You also once walked in them when you were living in them.

But now you also put away all these: anger, wrath, malice, slander, and obscene speech from your mouth.

Do not lie to each other, because you have put off the old man with his deeds.

And have put on the new self, being renewed to full knowledge according to the image of the one who created it.

where there is no Greek or Jew, circumcision or uncircumcision, barbarian, Scythian, slave or free, but Christ is all, and in all.

Clothe yourselves therefore, as God's chosen, holy and beloved, with tender mercy, kindness, humility, meekness, and patience.

Be patient with one another and forgive one another if anyone has a grievance against anyone; as the Lord forgave you, so you do also.

And above all these, love, which is the bond of perfection.

And let Christ's peace rule in your hearts, to which you were also called in one body; and be thankful.

Let Christ's word dwell richly in you in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another with psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to God.

And whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.

Wives, submit to your husbands, as is proper in the Lord.

Husbands, love your wives, and do not grow bitter toward them.

Children, obey your parents in every respect, for this is pleasing to the Lord.

Fathers, do not irritate your children, so that they do not become disheartened.

Slaves, obey your earthly masters in every respect, not just under supervision like people-pleasers, but with sincere hearts, revering the Lord.

Whatever you do, work with all your heart as for the Lord and not for men.

knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance, serve the Lord Christ.

For whoever does wrong will receive what he has wronged, and there is no partiality.
