Revelation 14

1And I looked and saw the Lamb standing on Mount Zion, with one hundred forty-four thousand beside him who bore his name and the name of his Father written on their foreheads.

2And I heard a sound from heaven like the sound of many waters and like the sound of great thunder, and the sound that I heard was like harpists playing their harps.

3They sing like a new song before the throne and before the four living creatures and the elders. No one could learn the song except the 144,000 redeemed from the earth.

4These are the ones who were not defiled with women, for they are virgins. These are those who follow the Lamb wherever he goes. These were redeemed from among men, firstfruits to God and the Lamb.

5And no falsehood was found in their mouths; they are unblemished.

6And I saw another angel flying in midheaven, holding the eternal gospel to proclaim to those dwelling on the earth, and to every nation and tribe and language and people.

7Saying with a loud voice, “Fear God and give him glory, because the hour of his judgment has come; worship him who made heaven and earth and sea and the springs of water.”

8And another, a second angel, followed, saying, "Fallen, fallen is Babylon the great, which has made all the nations drink of the wine of the wrath of her prostitution."

9And another angel, a third, followed them, proclaiming in a mighty voice, "If anyone worships the beast and its image, and receives a mark on his forehead or on his hand,"

10He also will drink from the wine of God's wrath, poured undiluted in the cup of his indignation, and will be tormented with fire and brimstone before the holy angels and before the Lamb.

11And the smoke of their torment ascends for ages of ages, and they have no rest day or night, those who worship the beast and its image, and anyone who receives the mark of its name.

12Here is the endurance of the saints: those who hold fast to God's commandments and the faith of Jesus.

13And I heard a voice from heaven saying, "Write: Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord from now on." "Yes," says the Spirit, "so they may rest from their labors, for their works follow with them.

14And I saw, and behold, a white cloud, and on the cloud one seated like a son of man with a golden crown on his head and a sharp sickle in his hand.

15And another angel came out from the temple, crying in a loud voice to the one sitting on the cloud, "Send your sickle and reap, because the hour to reap has come; for the harvest of the earth is ripe."

16And the one seated on the cloud cast his sickle upon the earth, and the earth was reaped.

17And another angel came out from the temple in heaven, himself also having a sharp sickle.

18And another angel came from the altar, the one with authority over fire, and called in a loud voice to the one holding the sharp sickle, saying, "Send your sharp sickle and harvest the clusters of the earth's vine, for its grapes have fully ripened."

19The angel drove his sickle into the earth, gathered the earth's vine, and threw it into the great winepress of God's wrath.

20The winepress was trodden outside the city, and blood came out from the winepress as far as the bridles of the horses, a thousand six hundred stadia.
