Lumin Translation
Revelation 13
And I saw a beast rising out of the sea, having ten horns and seven heads, with ten crowns on its horns and names of blasphemy on its heads.
And the beast that I saw resembled a leopard, its feet like a bear's and its mouth like a lion's, and the dragon gave it his power, his throne, and great authority.
One of its heads seemed as though slain to death, and its death stroke was healed, and the whole earth marveled and followed the beast.
They worshiped the dragon because he gave authority to the beast, and they worshiped the beast, saying, "Who is like the beast, and who is able to wage war against him?"
And he was given a mouth speaking great words and blasphemies, and authority to work forty-two months.
And he opened his mouth for blasphemies against God, to blaspheme his name, his tabernacle, and those who dwell in heaven.
And it was granted him to wage war against the saints and conquer them, and authority over every tribe and people and language and nation was given him.
And all who inhabit the earth will worship him, everyone whose name has not been written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.
Whoever has an ear, let him hear.
If anyone is to go into captivity, into captivity they go. If anyone is to be killed with the sword, with the sword they will be killed. Here is the endurance and the faith of the saints.
And I saw another beast rising from the earth, which had two horns like a lamb and spoke like a dragon.
It wields all the authority of the first beast right before it, and it causes the earth and those who dwell in it to worship the first beast, whose death stroke was healed.
And he does great signs, so that he even makes fire come down from heaven to earth in people's presence.
And it misleads earth's inhabitants through the signs granted it to perform before the beast, telling earth's inhabitants to make an image for the beast that bears the sword wound and lived.
And it was given to it to give breath to the beast's image, so that the beast's image would both speak and cause everyone who refused to worship the beast's image to be put to death.
And it causes everyone—the small and the great, the rich and the poor, the free and the slaves—to be given a mark on their right hand or on their forehead.
and so that no one can buy or sell except the one who has the mark, the name of the beast, or the number of its name.
Here is wisdom. Let the one who has understanding calculate the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man, and his number is six hundred sixty-six.
