Lumin Translation

Revelation 10

And I saw another mighty angel descending from heaven, clothed in a cloud, a rainbow over his head, his face like the sun, and his feet like pillars of fire.

He held a little open scroll in his hand and set his right foot on the sea, his left on the land.

And he cried with a mighty voice, as a lion roars. When he cried, the seven thunders sounded their voices.

And when the seven thunders spoke, I was about to write, and I heard a voice from heaven saying, "Seal what the seven thunders said, and do not write them."

And the angel whom I saw standing on the sea and the earth raised his right hand to heaven.

And swore by the one who lives for the ages of ages, who created heaven and everything in it, earth and everything in it, and the sea and everything in it, that there will be no more delay.

But in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when he is about to sound, the mystery of God is completed, as he announced to his own servants the prophets.

And the voice I heard from heaven spoke with me again and said, "Go, take the open scroll in the hand of the angel standing on the sea and the earth."

I went to the angel and asked him to give me the little scroll. He said to me, "Take it and devour it; it will embitter your stomach, but in your mouth it will be sweet as honey."

I took the little scroll from the angel's hand and devoured it. It was as sweet as honey in my mouth, but when I ate it, my stomach became bitter.

They said to me, "You must prophesy again to many peoples, nations, languages, and kings."
