Lumin Translation
Numbers 6
Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying,
Speak to the children of Israel and say to them: When a man or woman makes a special vow, a Nazirite vow, to consecrate himself to Yahweh.
He shall separate himself from wine and strong drink, drink no vinegar from wine or from strong drink, nor any liquor from grapes, nor eat fresh grapes or dried.
All the days of his consecration he shall eat nothing made from the wine vine, from seeds even to husks.
All the days of his consecration vow no razor shall pass over his head until the days are fulfilled in which he consecrates himself to Yahweh; he shall be holy, and the locks of hair on his head shall grow long.
All the days of his consecration to Yahweh, he shall not approach a dead person.
He shall not become unclean for his father and his mother, for his brother and his sister, when they die, because the consecration of his God is on his head.
All the days of his consecration he is holy to Yahweh.
If someone dies suddenly beside him and he defiles the head of his consecration, then he shall shave his head on the day of his purification; on the seventh day he shall shave it.
And on the eighth day he brings two turtledoves or two young pigeons to the priest, to the entrance of the tent of meeting.
The priest shall present one as a sin offering and one as a burnt offering, make atonement for him because he sinned on account of the person, and consecrate his head that day.
He shall consecrate to Yahweh the days of his consecration and bring a year-old lamb for a guilt offering, but the former days shall fall away because his consecration became defiled.
This is the law of the Nazarite: on the day the days of his consecration are fulfilled, he shall bring him to the entrance of the tent of meeting.
He offers his offering to Yahweh, one male lamb a year old without blemish for a burnt offering, one ewe lamb a year old without blemish for a sin offering, and one ram without blemish for peace offerings.
and a basket of unleavened bread, fine flour cakes mixed with oil, unleavened wafers anointed with oil, their grain offering, and their drink offerings.
The priest shall bring them before Yahweh and offer his sin offering and his burnt offering.
He shall offer the ram as peace offerings to Yahweh with the basket of unleavened bread, and the priest shall offer its grain offering and its drink offering.
The Nazarite shall shave his consecrated head at the entrance to the tent of meeting, take the hair of his consecrated head, and put it on the fire beneath the sacrifice of the peace offerings.
The priest shall take the boiled shoulder from the ram, one unleavened cake from the basket, and one unleavened wafer, and put them on the Nazirite's palms after he shaves his consecration hair.
The priest shall wave them as a wave offering before Yahweh; it is holy for the priest, with the breast of the wave offering and the thigh of the heave offering. Afterward the Nazirite may drink wine.
This is the law of the Nazarite who vows his offering to Yahweh for his separation, besides what his hand attains, according to his vow which he vows—so he shall do, according to the law of his separation.
Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying,
Speak to Aaron and his sons, saying, Thus you shall bless the sons of Israel: say to them,
Yahweh bless you and keep you.
May Yahweh shine his face upon you and be gracious to you.
Yahweh lift up his face upon you and grant you peace.
They shall set my name upon the sons of Israel, and I will bless them.
